Privacy notice

The short version: I only use your details to reply to you and to run your shoot. There are no tracking cookies, no advertising trackers and no selling of data, ever.
Who I am
This website is run by Hadley Photography, an independent photographer based in the West Midlands, UK. For anything to do with your personal information, email the address on the contact page.
What I collect, and why
Enquiries. When you use the enquiry form or email me, I receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the type of shoot and your message. I use these only to reply, to plan and quote for your shoot, and to keep in touch about it. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a booking, and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Shoots and galleries. If you book, I keep the details needed to arrange and deliver your shoot, and the photographs themselves. Your gallery is delivered through Zenfolio, a secure client gallery service, which holds your images and the access details for your gallery.
Photographs of you. I never publish a photograph of a client on this site or anywhere else without permission. Boudoir and other personal sessions are never shared or published without your written consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Who else sees it
Only the services needed to run the site and deliver your work: Hostinger, which hosts this website and its email, and Zenfolio, which hosts client galleries. Both act on my instructions. I do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else for marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, not from Google or other third parties. Your browser keeps a small note for the current visit only so the magazine cover plays once rather than on every page; it is cleared when you close the tab.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into a booking are deleted within 12 months. For booked clients, I keep contact details and invoices for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, and I keep your photographs so I can supply copies or reprints later. Ask at any time and I will delete anything I am not required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Just email me and I will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
